I just got home from the movie theater in my hometown.
I saw "Knowing".

Starting at 0:
-1 for starring Nicolas Cage. (HE CAN"T ACT!!!)
+2.5 for being an end of the world movie.
+1 for killing Nicolas Cage at the end.
+1 for excessive use of fire. (FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE EEEEEEEEEE!!!)
+1 for subtle biblical references throughout the film.
-.5 for introducing said biblical references halfway through the film.
+.5 for having an insane 13-year-old scratching numbers into wood with her fingernails.
+1 for realistically portraying people's reactions to the end of the world
+1 for making Nicolas Cage an atheist. (He still sucks.)
+1 for having a rational scientific explanation for the end of the world.
+1 for using the aliens preserving humanity idea well.

Total: 8.5 out of 10.

All in all, I was fairly impressed. I recommend going to see it-the commercials don't do it justice. I would generally describe it as Noah's Flood gone Stephen King. Good movie, totally worth the $9.
