Halloween Blues

I've had none of the natural high this year around that I've had in years before.

Part of this is the ongoing nature of my comic. You will have noticed by now that there have not been any new pages for quite some time. This is because I am losing interest/have lost interest in the plot, which has begun to unravel like a poorly made tapestry.

I'm not going to write any more of it.

At least, not for now. Consider this an extended hiatus if you like, but it's unlikely that I will come back to this particular project.

That said, I guess I'm just not feeling the Halloween spirit.

I need some time to think.

heh, your sig asked for criticism, and it just so happens to be my specialty... well, I might not be good at it, but I just do it a lot.

There are two major things I'd try to improve If I were you. First, and this is important: Your drawings seam lifeless. Put more expression to it, possibly try out some of those challenges you can find here on DA where you are supposed to draw your character in different moods...
And second: Anatomy; especially the neck-shoulders-chest-area... just browse google for "anatomy", "human anatomy" and such... At least I find it to be quite useful... Now I want YOU to go ahead and BASH MY ART. Point out flaws and mistakes, people so rarely comment my stuff -__-'

It sounds like you really want it, so I'll criticize your work as a thank-you. And I'm aware they look lifeless, I'm trying to give them more life in my current sketch pages. As for the anatomy thing...I know this is a problem. I don't mind them as they are, but I know I can improve and that I should be trying.

Erm..I don't really know what I'd want you to draw. :D And I wouldn't want to make you draw something you wouldn't like to. So just go with something awesome?
